Family Ministry seeks to partner with families to impact the next generation for Christ:  Here's why:

Why we do family ministry:
Family ministry is not a new ministry, but a philosophy that shapes how we do ministry at Riverwood.  According to Deuteronomy 6:4-7, the transfer of spiritual truth from one generation to the next generation happens in the family.  As parents seek to love God with all their heart, soul, and might, they then transfer Biblical truth to their children while they live life together every day.  One of the roles of the church is to come alongside families to encourage, equip, teach, and love in this process of transferring truth.

How we do family ministry:

     
  • Family Worship Opportunities: As part of our Sunday worship gatherings, we will often come together as whole families in the Worship Center for corporate, family worship. 
  • Parent Emails: Receive weekly email updates on what your children and teens learned the previous week and questions to continue the discussion at home, in the car, or around the dinner table.  Register below to reveive these emails:
