Philosophy of Worship

Worship is the core reason a church exists. Everything we pursue…Life Groups, missions, fellowship, teaching, everything… flows out of our desire to bring glory to God. As we enter into our Sunday worship gathering there are many factors that affect why and how we design the actual time together. This document is our attempt to explain these factors.

1.    Part one is our "Philosophy of worship" what it is & why we engage in it.

2.    Part two explains why there are certain practices in the worship at Riverwood. Actually much of the “why” can also be found in Bill Kirkwood’s article “Top Ten Reasons to Worship God.”
