Open Arms Nursery
Since the nursery is a child's first exposure to church, we want each child to feel secure and sense the love of Jesus from our volunteers. Our nursery volunteers have been screened and trained and have a heartfelt desire to bless you and your child.
We believe babies and young toddlers are able to learn- they will hear bible stories that will be repeated frequently so that by the time your child "graduates" from the nursery, he/she will be familiar with some Bible truths. Take home sheets are given to parents.
In our toddler room, we will follow a basic routine of welcome time, story time, play time, snack time, and closing time. We believe that routine helps children to feel secure in knowing what they can expect during their stay.

Please note:
- If you are a nursing mother, a private area in our nursery is available to you.
- Every family will receive a diaper bag tag which you can personalize and keep on your diaper bag.
- We want to celebrate your child's birthday! A special surprise is waiting. Please remind us on the nearest Sunday to the special day.
- Nursery is provided for newborns until age 2. However, children are only promoted in the fall, so if a child turns 2 before then, he will remain in the nursery until Promotion Sunday at the end of August.
